You may notice some changes on the forum from today, the new release is here and it brings some pretty brilliant new features and some much needed bug fixes.
The biggest change is the introduction of categories, the work put into this has been done by the brilliant @jyapayne. He put in a lot of work here and has been very patient waiting for his work to become live, thank you for your amazing work and patience! The full list of changes can be seen here: <https://github.com/nim-lang/nimforum/compare/v2.0.1...v2.1.0> This forum hasn't been updated for pretty much 2 years now, so it was definitely very overdue. After a lot of back and forth I finally got the time (and will) to look into a performance regression that was introduced, fix it, and get the new version deployed. I hope that this version will be the most stable iteration of the forum yet. I would encourage you to get involved in the forum's development on GitHub (<https://github.com/nim-lang/nimforum>) so that we can make this forum even better. As always, happy to hear your thoughts as I'm sure @jyapayne is as well.
