@nyggus, if you're on Linux, you should be able to build Nim from source very easily without having to do much at all. [Github](https://github.com/nim-lang/Nim) has the instructions. You said you tried it and it didn't work for you, right? If you try again, and tell us where things went wrong, I'm pretty sure we can get you going. The build on Ubuntu is very easy!
@araq, no need to be so harsh. No one has the time to investigate everything, and it's not irrational to move on after putting in a small bit of effort.
