Why does Nim compiler allways depends on another's language compiler?

Compiling to C is a huge advantage to me (for reasons mentioned @treeform and 
@dom96 mentioned). It's one of the main reasons I chose this language over Go 
and others, when I was looking to learn a new compiled language for game 
development.
