I can not agree. The question "can I start with Nim as a fully unskilled" arose often some years ago, so I thought about that seriously. Me and some others came to the conclusion that in early Nim days starting with C or Python is a better start. Not why both languages are great, but because both had a large community, good learning resources, and offer jobs. And C and Python are no waste of time, as they are so popular, and every serious programmers just has to know some C. I know in these days some people including Dom recommended to start directly with Nim, but that was really hard some years ago for unskilled people.
