Yes, for a couple of reasons:

  * Leaving things out is not the same as "Lying" or being "dishonest".
  * These arguments can all be refuted, some quite easily, and maybe better 
refuted than you currently do.
  * It's simply not the right place for a book about Nim. Your readers have 
already decided they want to read a book about Nim, for whatever good or bad 
reasons, and your job is not to distract or to discourage them.



I've read plenty of books about programming, yours is pretty much the only one 
with sections that are that discouraging. These other books are not all 
"dishonest", they simply focus on the topic.
