Maybe we can have a poll a while after each major version release over how many problems users encounter when using specific experimental/new features? Options could be like "never used", "a lot of problems", "some problems", "little to no problems". It wouldn't be binding, but it would be good insight on what needs work, what needs a redesign etc. There might be some features that aren't listed, but those could be written in a text field. I'm not sure if the yearly survey has done this, I think it's more general.
View types were a very common feature request at some point, and was added as an experimental feature accordingly. If there are other obvious features that aren't in Nim already, then those should probably be added as well. It might be discouraging to think of even more new features that will need to be worked on but ideally community assessment is taken into account for it to be as fair as possible. RFCs also exist for people to write down either for nothing to happen or to get an assessment/feedback for a future PR pretty much always by the author(s). I don't think it's a good "feature request" board as the ideas have to be fleshed out beforehand, instead of giving general ideas of what people want. I don't think you can force anyone to do anything (unless you're a sponsor), but at least we can get some guidance if the community is involved.
