@georgelemon Nice suggestion, went trough much of that with Zoom already a year ago. Currently using AGT2 audio tehnica detachable boom mic with next to no filters(used to use quite a bit). Sometime soon i will get myself one of those devices(preamp ?). I don't know but i am liking this microphone atm. Maybe it's not the best sounding one, but it does make recording/streaming easy, no need to adjust position so the sound volume is good and or sounding too distant.
That link you sent for the sound effects you made, i will give them a look/try when making the next video. Part 2 is already on YouTube, just waiting to make it public, tomorrow or day after(YouTube algorithm...). Olive video editor... i've looked at it several times already, but 0.2 hasn't come out for years now, and it looks like the last version was 3 years ago. Currently using KDEnlive and it's pretty good and improving constantly. Though a few months ago i got a bad version or something, because it refused to render almost anything and titles would flicker like crazy(one of the reasons why this video didn't come out sooner, it was 98% done in October i think...). I used DaVinci Resolve(free) for most of my initial batch of videos, and it was pretty damn great and all, but... there was just so much in it that it was very hard to navigate. For that reason i am using KDEnlive, it has more than enough functionality for me, and with that simpler and easier to use/navigate. I just wish it would render a little bit faster(it's pretty fast, but it's not the most optimized from me recalling how DaVinci's speed was), that and NOT having buggy versions from time to time. They need to QC a little bit better before release. I am not sure by what you mean separating audio/video channels. I obviously know about that, but i don't know how that would help... It's easy to add empty ones in either program i used for music/sfx etc. For my videos i was mostly thinking about a pop up sfx(actually spent time recording my own xD, though never used it), for when popping up extra information(used only once so far in part 2 at the end) for those interested, so i don't spend too much time deep diving into a topic when not really necessary. Along that i want to use some relaxing(?) ambient music to cover up most of background noises that may come trough my setup(biggest being my headphones rattling Senheizer HD599, which are extremely comfy, light, open back great for recording due to hearing yourself really well, really great audio to the point of thinking someone is knocking on my door... but the build of it does rattle when moving my head side to side, e.g.: reading/keeping track on what i am talking about from monitor 2. For this the best idea would be to have a monitor diagonally under my main one, but besides that kickstarter thing of 2x monitors on top of each other, i don't see a solution atm. My agon monitor has a huge bezel on the bottom(power delivery i bet)). Second take on the recording setting(mic, cable etc) you suggested -> maybe in the future. Would it actually sound that much better ?
