No, the forum is not meant to replace this list. Some people like the
forums, some like the list. I figure we may as well offer both.

The list hasn't been down, it just hasn't been busy. Please feel free
to get this list going.

Now, can someone please answer Rutie's question? I would if I knew
the answer ...

There's a new web-based forum on the Nisus site, which I just had a
quick look at. It failed in trying to register me, so I don't know
what's the story there. Is it meant to be an alternative to this
mail-based forum?
