Thank you for this link; very in formative.

I found the comment on the merger between Ikito and Nisus revealing. Having a copy of 
Composer, it is easy to see where the appearance of the proposed NW X has come from.

On the topic of future alignments between Mac developers outside of the Microsoft 
area, I would very much like to see a grouping, even if informal, between Nisus Inc. 
and Omni Group.

Nisus would provide the word/text processor which Omni lacks, and Omni would supply 
the browser + outliner + graphics app. These three are very  nice OS X applications, 
well advanced, and would fit in very well with NW X. OmniWeb is my browser of choice 
[there occasionally is a site which will not accept it] and Outliner is much superior 
to that available with NW 6.5 in both simplicity of use and as an OS X app.

In any case, even if there is no formal grouping, I am sure all four could work 
together.
