[OT] I hate to say it but I am an inveterate purchaser of shareware/commercial applications which appear to give me something of value. I had already set OmniWeb as my default using Get Info. In the above case it was purchasing ThinkFreeOffice. I am working from memory here, but when I went to the site in OmniWeb I paid up and received a large download as a .tgz file. As usual I double-clicked but got nowhere. I then opened Internet Explorer which used my file as the key to download/open the full working copy of TFO. Thus, for some reason of security limits, OmniWeb was not accepted. I wrote to TFO but the answer was not too helpful. Would I use TFO's Writer as my WP? Only if pressed and I didn't know anything about NW. TFO is reasonable and will open/save in Word/Excel/PowerPoint formats. But it is a bit better than AppleWorks to use. Unlikely to challenge NW X now that I've tested Composer (: ================================= Regards from Brian Ferguson Mac OS X 10.2.2 & Nisus Email X 1.6.1 ================================= --------------------------------------------------- The Nisus Interactive List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Searchable archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/nisus-interactive%40nisus.com/ To unsubscribe from this list please send a message with "unsubscribe nisus-interactive" in the body of the email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
