Thanks for addressing my and everyone else's biggest concern. I had no serious doubts that Nisus Writer X really exists; my facetious comments were simply intended to provoke a response, and so have served their purpose. (Glad to know you're still reading! <g>)
It was never my intention, however, to imply that you are "slackers." That written, though, we have been waiting for nearly two years. (That figure's not exaggeration, either. I don't know if you're as AR as I am about keeping past email, but I have a message from you dated 30 June 2001, in reply to a question about when an OS X version would be released.)
Your devotion to quality is why I'm still waiting. But perfectionism can be a fault, you know. The _new_ features sound nice, icing on the cake, but I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling that some could probably wait for a later release. I can't eat my icing, either, if I don't have the cake!
I for one will be willing to pay and pay well for the new version. Even without an upgrade discount.
That's how "silly" I am. And how much I love Nisus Writer.
