Keep in mind that while .doc translation may not be important to you, it is very important to the vast majority of people that voted in our various surveys, or that posted in our forums, or wrote to us privately via the nwxfeedback address.

In fact, that feature was requested by almost a 2-1 margin over any other feature. Since we had the time to do it while other issues were being taken care of, we added it.

Oh, and no, this was not a factor in us delaying the release of the public beta.

I will be interested to see if the translator is from DataViz or is
something like Recosoft's VINC utility, which does support double-byte
language Word files.
