I mostly lurk on this list, hoping to read good ideas on making my word processor of choice work better.

I downloaded Express in demo mode, and so far, I'm not inclined to buy it. Here's what I would like it to have, before I buy.

1. Booklet Printing!!! I am a part time knitting pattern designer, and I print my patterns in 5.5 x 8.5 inch booklets. Nisus Classic is the only word processor I know of that can automatically print this format, with the pages arranged correctly. I know this is an unusual feature, but I won't buy a word processor without it.

2. Ability to manipulate images. Likewise, I often import images into my documents, and I often need to resize them after importing. So far, I haven't seen a way to do this in NWEX.

3. I have also fallen in love with the OS X font panel ... why isn't it being used?

4. Like others, I also miss "show Invisibles"

5. I also miss the named rulers and paragraph styles. These are incredibly useful for keeping a series of documents looking the same.

I'm hoping some of you will point me to a menu item I've overlooked that will let me do what I want. I know this is a 1.0 release, but I'm not ready to pay for something that is missing the features I *need*. I like Nisus, have been using their products since the very early 90's (QUED), and my husband and I still remember Professor Lewak's freshman Physics class at UCSD.
