Same here.

Ah...

I don't know about AS, so I have no idea. But what is worse is that NW Express begins to occupy the enormous amount of CPU power when you clicked OK in the dialog box and won't release CPU even after cmd-v.

I didn't notice it, but now, yes. I have a little utility named "MenuMeters" which shows CPU, memory and net activity usage in the menu bar...

The CPU is released only when I quit NW-Ex. This is really very bad...!

Didn't you notice it? If so, I'd like to recommend you, Nobumi, to add a nice free utility PTHCPUMonitor to your login items.
<http://www.pth.com/PTHCPUMonitor/>

It shows CPU usage visually and enables you to kill a program.

Perhaps I will change my MenuMeters to PTHCPUMoniter.

But... is it only my AppleScript macro which has this effect? Or perhaps any AppleScript macro for NW-Ex? Or even any macro for NW-Ex? -- Classic Nisus macros are very bad also as to the CPU usage.

I need it because my bad perl scripts freeze perl at times;-) Is "freeze" the right word here? By it, I mean "bousou" in Japanese, i.e. a program out of control continuing to occupy CPU.

I don't know. Perhaps "crash" would be better??

Or is the 'Do Menu Macro with macro "Edit:Paste"' command broken?

I tend to think that the exchange of data -- send and receive -- with another application is broken.

Well, "get selected text of document 1" works fine. So perhaps receiving data is the broken part...??

Thank you.

P.S.
I just received:

Do Menu Macro with macro "Edit:Paste"

I have to press CMD + V to replace the selected text with the tagged text.

Same here.

But

Do Menu Macro with macro "Paste"

seems to work. I'm confused.

Thank you very much!
