I agree that the loss of the graphics layer is a big loss and I hope it is added in the next release. I would think that the least the engineers could have done is found a way to import the graphics from the graphics layer in a Classic file into NWOSX file when the Classic file is opened.

Why does copy and paste not always work in Nisus Writer X? Sometimes
when I copy an image from another application to the clipboard, I can
paste it into a document, sometimes not. For example, copying a
section of a finder window will always paste into a document, but
copying an image from GraphicConverter always fails. Is this a bug?

I have found the same problem and put it down to it not yet being addressed.

The only success was when I wanted to Insert > Images... with a jpeg or tiff FILE [either one, can't recall] and NWEx asked me to locate it. But it was the entire file which was inserted.

I can't get items, such as a Clipping from a scanned image, to be accepted.

I will admit I've not tried too hard, but having the Graphics layer in NW Classic is a sad loss; I hope temporary.

Could Dave give a clue here, please?
