It does look like it is moving closer to a real Word alternative (and we need one), but do I yet have a viable replacement for Nisus Writer?
It depends on your needs; it is getting there!
* Will it import Nisus Writer styles?
Yes.
* Do paragraphs have *one* style, which underlies any layered character styles over parts of it? Can this style be changed leaving the overlying character styles in place?
Yes.
* PowerFind Pro/GREP?
Yes.
* Section numbering, multiple levels?
No. But it is high on our list.
If these are your main list, you should really consider 2.0. It might be just the thing you need.
