I'm pleased to report that Amruta's defense last Thursday went *very* well, and that she passed her oral exam and is nearly done with her written thesis.
As a result, I've decided to move her to the alumni list just a little bit early. Technically she will graduate when the final version of her thesis is submitted, but the changes required are so minor that it won't take long at all.
