Yesterday (Fri Nov 4) we discussed the Enron corpus and some email
classification work done by Ron Bekkerman of UMass. I am putting together
a web page to allow for our first official release of Apurva's topic
annotated Enron corpus, and will have that url for you in the next day or
two.

In the meantime, a few followup items. Apurva has some Enron info on her
research page, including links to some of the papers and data we
discussed yesterday.

There are additional URLs in her slides, which I will post shortly.

In addition, I wanted to mention a book I read about the Enron debacle
a little while ago. It is called Conspiracy o f Fools, but Kurt
Eichenwald.

I thought it was quite illuminating, and quite well written. The web site
above has some nice information on the whole debacle, as well as excerpts
from the book. Our UMD library has a copy, if you are interested.
