Greetings all,

I am happy to report that Apurva submitted the final versionof
her thesis last Friday, and that marks the official end of her
time at UMD. Congratulations! She now moves from the ranks of
active NLP group member to Alumni. You can see Apurva's alumni
entry below, which also includes a link to her thesis:

Apurva's thesis, as you may recall, had to do with the Enron
email corpus. As a part of that work she manually annotated
more than 3,000 messages in the Enron corpus by topic, and that
data is now available at http://www.d.umn.edu/~tpederse/enron.html

Apurva is now on the job market, and she reports that things
look good. I will update you when she knows more about that, but
for now she can relax a little and enjoy some time away from UMD.

Congratulations once again, and good luck!
Ted
