Thanks Bridget, This is very helpful information. One thing we sometimes lose track of here is that while the University of Minnesota has several campuses, there is just one Graduate School to which we all belong. So if you are a graduate student in Duluth, you are in the same Graduate School as a student in the Twin Cities, which means that some of the same resources available in the Twin Cities are available to students in Duluth.
This is also why I can serve on PhD committees and co-advise PhD students in the Twin Cities, since I hold an appointment in the Graduate School of the University of Minnesota, which covers all the different campuses.
