One thing to watch when doing connections for higher bandwidth:
The wire twist needs to be twisted up to as close to the crimp terminals
on those jacks as you can get.  I suspect there is not a lot (if any)
difference between those for Cat 5 and Cat 6 connectors but I have not
looked to find out.

Down the road you might want to consider fiber in some places.  It can
be more trouble to install, but it is not as likely to have lightning
and surges take out equipment.
