I have always viewed this as more than just a Linux group, i see it as a
computer technology group that leans towards F/OSS and linux while still
being quite in the "know" about other technologies. in fact as far as the
help part of the group, i am quite sure an active member could put out an
APB for a problem with a windows box and get answers back. when you start
confining a group of people to only one specific thing, the group becomes
strangled and actually loses people and interest from people. of course you
will have the people who do not like some straying from the core, but i can
assure you that its a minority.
