A regular external WAP would be one more piece to carry, and one more item to plug into an AC outlet. The "system" I'm hoping to build will be something that I set up when our band plays. So, it's important that it's as simple as possible to set up and transport. If I were given an external access point, I'd certainly use it, but if I'm paying for something, I prefer something that makes my life a little easier regarding how much crap I have to put into my car. Besides, I think I've seen the Encore 802.11n card for about $20. Maybe I'll just make an impulse purchase and see what it'll do. :-) JMJ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
