All the options given so far are good ones. It's been a while since I've used a straight up LDAP based DS. However, here's how I would choose: If I need a small, light on memory and resources directory, OpenLDAP. If I need a larger, replicated Directory, RedHat Directory Server. Multimaster replication does require some pre-planning, as you don't want to do Directory Services by the seat of your pants. -- See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. John 3:16! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
