Pardon my interruption as I impose on all of my fine Open Source friends
that find themselves working with Vista against their will. Got a call
from a neighbor describing how their computer lost the plot with their
Verizon Wireless mobile broadband. I grant you that at this moment I
have not seen the offending system and am working with paraphrased error
messages from my neighbor. I have seen earlier versions of Windows get
.dll files wadded up in its shorts. Anybody seen the same kind of thing
with Vista?

Un-install the mobile broadband stuff and re-install kinda drill? I go
see the patient tomorrow 1530. If it's more than the above, I'll report
back...

We return to your regularly scheduled programming
