As someone who has been on the NLUG lists since 1996, I can recall some early rants on this very topic. It seems to rear it's head about every 18 to 24 months, so what's old is truly new again. Some of the biggest laughs I have ever had staring at my computer came from NLUG members ranting about top posting and proper netiquette. Can't we all just get along? "Fucktard," anyone?
