Hey Howard,

If they're not on a domain, then they must be using workgroups.  If so
make sure each pc is on the same workgroup.  And then secondly, when
using a workgroup, each user must have an account on each Pc with the
exact same username and password for permissions to work since you
don't have a central form of login authorization.  Let me know if that
