Ok, this may not be as secure, but it is easy.  Dropbox.com you can
set up a free
account (up to 2G, pay after that), and use it on linux, winders, Mac
or whatever.
I am running their client on my Ubuntu 8.04 laptop now.  Seems rock steady.

I also use Amazon S3 directly on Linux and WIndows of varioius
flavors.  Not hard
once you get it set up.

Contact me directly if you need some assistance.  But this is all 3rd
party, less
secure than staying on your own network.
