Ok, I don't want to put on cables, but I would like to show a display from my laptop on the TV across the room. The TV has a VGA and separate stereo sound input ports. I see several gadgets that are there, but has anyone really used one from Linux? I figured there could be issues especially if it is USB kind of interface for the laptop.
