I've not had problems around Nashville normally with AT&T. Oddly enough
some of the places I would have troubles, the GF's identical phone would
fair better.

One problem you might notice is in some places where people gather, you
will watch signal strength bounce from good to off air due to tower flux.

Providence area is bad for having to bounce around towers. I also equate
that to proximity to the interstate and the number of ongoing calls passing
through the tower that take precedent over my basic connectivity.

Look over the news of the Motorola Atrix. It is supposed to ship next month.
I really want that one. Dual core 1ghz cpu, 1gb ram, 720p recording, front
facing camera, and docking stations that make it even more usable. Like a
docking station with real USB ports and video out so you can use it as a
normal desktop. One with HDMI out, and a IR remote so you can sit on the
couch and still use the phone. And last, one that is a laptop form factor.

Going to be pricey, but slick as all get out.
