My first time opening my iPhone 3G was to replace the battery. I was past the year warranty and didn't want to pay Apple $100 for a cheap battery. The site I bought the battery from was http :// www . repairsuniverse .com. They sent me the wrong battery at first which I didn't notice it until I installed it. They were very good about correcting their mistake. It took me a couple of times to get it back together totally correct. There are a couple of connectors that were a little difficult to get back connected for a naivest.
A few months later, the camera went bad. I bought a new one and replaced it. Then there was my vibration module was loose and hitting a circuit board. I have extensive time worked on my iPhone hardware and software. I have jailbroken it and used a file editor to fix frequent system hangs. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Farnsworth " < farnsaw @ gmail .com> To: nlug -talk@ googlegroups .com Sent: Monday, April 18, 2011 8:14:48 PM Subject: Re: [ nlug ] Wanted: iPhone 3GS On Mon, Apr 18, 2011 at 5:10 PM, Kevin Wurm <[email protected]> wrote: > I've opened my iPhone 3G 15+ times.
