We had ~300 CentOS machines at this place I worked at a while back. I'm most familiar with the RHEL way of doing things - it is a natural for me. Oracle was always a pain to manage, IMHO. However, I just learned that the new mdadm (EL6) requires a homename and name to operate properly, which breaks all kinds of automated volume scripts - very annoyed.
