And I wasn't trying to sound big, just saying we were running CentOS just fine, 
so I would have been happy to continue down that path.

I didn't mean to insult, just to illustrate that we had a large 
environment, and pushed some serious bits through it (Flickr-sized web 
traffic volume). Biggest problem we had was external - we melted AWS 
twice, lost 1-3 hosts or disks per month, and were DDOSed and attacked 
regularly. CentOS works great.
