Everyone shares towers. If you get a good signal from one provider in a particular part of town it's likely other providers will work just as well. As a mobile developer I have accounts with AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. They all use the same tower up by the interstate near my house. If your signal strength is low you can call your provider and they will send you a mobile access point which will get you 5 bars of 3G signal throughout your house.
