Hackaday just had a posting about a Plan9 port to the Pi. Plan9 (name taken from the cult movie "Plan9 from Outer Space") was described as 'more Unix than Unix' back in the day. It has and allows multiple 'display stations', storage computers, compute computers, etc. Quite interesting really. And yes, it was really used at Bell Labs by everyone from secretarial pool, bosses, everyone.
