Only lucky if I do a speed test from my home and actually see some bandwidth!
But I have an evil idea. Many are aware that AT&T&T&T is offering gigabit speed at Google Fiber's $70/month price (plus payoff to various politicians, of course - called 'fees.') They will do deep packet inspection on all your traffic so they can offer targeted advertisements. But wait, it gets better - if you pay $30 a month (I think that's the figure) more, they'll stop doing that wee-bit-intrusive scanning of your data. OK, sign me up at $70. You don't know that I'm going to run a VPN to work (where we already have gigabit Internet, thanks to NES dark fiber) - and I'll do my lower bandwidth browsing from there. Do all the packet inspection you want; everything is encrypted. Bwahahahahaaaa!!!! Is that properly evil, or is there a way for me to do more?
