Tim has the technicalities right. But pretty much any car will support DIN while only cars that come with double DIN oem will typically take them aftermarket. It used to be only certain dodge, gm and ....maybe vw? Models that had cd and cassette players were double DIN. A good bet is to hit the crutchfield website and put your car info in, it will show you what’s compatible. As an added bonus, they will send you any kits you may need to modify for fit.
