Great work! Your core file indicated that inc fails in line 263 of the
file m_getfld.c, with the value of j equal to 0. This causes inc to read
beyond the end of a buffer.
On March 6, John Gill sent a patch to the nmh-workers mailing list for
exactly this problem. I have built a test version of nmh with his patch
applied. I put the Debian package at
http://www.debian.org/~ruud/nmh_1.0-3_i386.deb
Can you install this version and tell me if it fixes your problem?
