Thanks to whoever went ahead and inverted the foreground and background
colors on the nmh website like I asked. The links are infinitely easier to
read now. It also now seems -- I dunno -- less imposing somehow.

Speaking of CVS (which was used to update the web site -- how's that for a
trick transition ;^>), I see on cvs.html that one of the ways to use CVS for
nmh development is via ssh.

It's not stated whether your ssh daemon is ssh 1.x or ssh 2.x, however. I
just started using SSH (after meaning to for a long time), but I gather that
the difference is somewhat meaningful. For instance, ssh 2.x does not yet
support .rhosts/.shosts-based authentication.

As a simple test (perhaps it's bogus?), I tried the following and got:

    % ssh2 mhost.com

Disconnected; protocol version not supported (Illegal protocol version.).

Does this mean I need to use SSH 1.x or does it mean (as I've seen suggested
on comp.security.ssh) that I have to get mhost.com's SSH public key from
somewhere? If the latter, how do I do that, and can this be documented on
the web page?
