After sleeping on it, my opinion is that it should only affect the From line 
and not affect the name of the inbox.

I don't see much point in adding the complexity to support something that I 
think might possibly be useful, but don't really know how.

So, ignore my request that it be conditional.

I think most qmail users would be much more interested in seeing Maildir 
support added to nmh.
