Sorry for the slow response, I've been on vacation down in Italy for a
bit.
It's fixed. Mea culpa. When I upgraded the OS on mhost I also updated
openssh (you can use versions 1 or 2 now). Unfortunately, I set the
"allow empty passwords" field to "no" when doing so, which disabled
access by the cvs user.
