My personal thoughts in terms of implementation was that "53" would be the original message. "53.mime" would contain the decoded MIME parts. But it's important to note that while I'm not AGAINST this, I'm not going to work on it myself. AFAICT it only helps out people who want to use Unix tools on MIME messages; it doesn't help nmh to be more MIME aware.
