It would seem so:

$ grep UNIX * | wc -l
        17

$ grep unix * | wc -l
        4

$ grep Unix * | wc -l
        3

Perhaps something to do with the UNIX trademark, or just an historical
usage? I'll put it on my TODO (ahem) list.
