If one's very careful to preserve the ‘MIME-ness’ that's been created, e.g. instead of inserting ‘6*7=42’ into the body it would have to be ‘6*7=3D42’. Or a base64 section might need to be put through base64(1) either side of the edit. -- Cheers, Ralph.
