Snapchat has signed on in support of the horrific Kids Online Safety Act
Just FYI. Keep in mind that the requirements of this act could basically
end the Internet as we know it, ultimately turning it into a China-style
government system with all users' activity being linked to their
government IDs, and vast new opporuntities created for personal
informatioh breaches. If you're OK with that under one party's
administration, consider what the OTHER party could do with it. No
matter where you stand politically, it's a train wreck for the Net,
and it will make things more dangerous for children, not safer. -L
