Google Bard and Plan 8
I mean seriously now. I asked Bard if the movie "Plan 8 from Outer
Space" was a good film. Bard proceeded to answer as if I had asked
about "Plan 9 from Outer Space" -- without even bothering to suggest
that it was talking about a differently titled film. It even repeated
the 8 in its answer!
Why didn't it say something like, "Do you actually mean 'Plan 9 from
Outer Space'? I can tell you about that movie."
This isn't funny. Thinking about the vast numbers of questions where
errors in the questions are probably just ignored by Bard, letting the
questioner think that they were correct. Not funny at all. -L
