BREAKING: L.A. Earthquake
A quake hit here in L.A. a little while ago. Preliminary estimates are
~4.5 with epicenter near Malibu. No reports so far of major damage and
while it was a very noticeable quake relatively, I haven't yet found
anything fallen. Of course I've been through a lot of quakes here,
including two big ones.
Speaking of big ones -- today is the anniversary of the major L.A.
Sylmar quake of 1971. Someone mentioned this to me this morning and I
stupidly replied, "I guess we're about due for another one." Oops. -L
