Jason,

Have you used Disk Utility's secure image before? This is how I have
managed my MoneyWell document--I keep it stored on a server, and I
have a MoneyWell icon that actually runs a script to mount the
encrypted disk image, then open the file with MoneyWell. The script
runs in the background, periodically checking to see if MoneyWell is
still running. If it is not, it unmounts the secured image, and the
file is safely encrypted again.

This is a nice tool for me, because the only place that the file is
not encrypted is on my local hard drive while I'm actively working
with the file. When it is transferred across the network, it is in
encrypted form, safe from prying eyes that might be able to use a text
editor to open my MoneyWell document and read what I don't want read.

Please let me know if you need help setting up the encrypted image.
