In my limited experience with MW, I've noticed that the account balance is shown in the "status bar" at the bottom of the window. Tonight I noticed that the balance shown in the accounts panel is different than the balance shown in the status bar.
I'm aware the balance shown in the status bar can vary depending on the date of the transaction selected, but I have the latest transaction (with today's date) selected.
