In this case, there were two pending transactions. The confusion was  
that they had current dates on them.

Just to clarify for the user group, transactions that are entered with  
future dates get marked automatically as Pending and show up with a  
light orange backdrop on them. Once those transactions become current,  
they stay pending but the orange color becomes darker to signify that  
they are within the current timeframe.

MoneyWell wants you to confirm that a pending transaction has really  
happened. This can be done by importing a matching transaction, which  
will mark it as Cleared in 1.4, or by manually changing the status to  
Open, Cleared, or Reconciled.

A future version of MoneyWell will prompt you when there are pending  
transactions that have moved into the current timeframe so you can  
mark them as open in as group.
